Creating Invoices

Turn your tracked time into professional invoices with just a few clicks.

From Tasks

The easiest way to create an invoice:

  • Go to Invoices and click Create Invoice
  • Select a client
  • Choose which completed tasks to include
  • Review the line items (auto-calculated from time entries)
  • Add any additional items if needed
  • Click Create

Manual Invoices

You can also create invoices from scratch:

  • Click Create Invoice
  • Select the client
  • Add line items manually:

- Description

- Quantity/Hours

- Rate

- Amount (auto-calculated)

  • Set payment terms

Invoice Fields

  • Invoice Number: Auto-generated, sequential
  • Issue Date: When the invoice is created
  • Due Date: Payment deadline
  • Notes: Terms, thank you message, etc.

Line Items

Each line item includes:

  • Description of work
  • Quantity (hours or units)
  • Unit price (hourly rate or fixed)
  • Total amount

Discounts and Adjustments

Add discounts or additional charges:

  • Percentage discounts
  • Fixed amount discounts
  • Additional fees (rush delivery, expenses, etc.)
