Fair Usage Policy
Zenaris includes AI-powered features across all plans. To ensure a reliable experience for everyone, we apply fair usage limits to AI calls based on your subscription tier.
AI Usage Limits by Tier
Each subscription tier includes a monthly allocation of AI calls:

AI call limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
What Counts as an AI Call
An AI call is any action that triggers Zenaris's AI processing engine. This includes:
- Quote generation — using AI to generate or refine a quote for a client.
- Email analysis — AI-powered parsing and categorisation of incoming emails linked to your invoicing workflow.
- Report queries — asking AI to summarise, analyse, or generate insights from your invoicing and project data.
Standard actions such as creating invoices, managing tasks, or sending emails do not count as AI calls.
What Happens When You Exceed Your Limit
We believe in a fair and transparent approach. When you reach your monthly AI call limit:
- You will receive a notification letting you know you have reached your allocation.
- AI features will not be cut off abruptly. You may continue to use them with a reduced priority, though response times may be longer.
- We will suggest upgrading to a higher tier if you consistently need more AI capacity.
- All non-AI features remain fully available regardless of your AI usage.
We do not impose hard cutoffs. Our goal is to keep the platform useful while maintaining fair access for all users.
Abuse Prevention
To protect the quality of the service for all users, we monitor for patterns that indicate abuse, including:
- Automated or scripted requests designed to consume AI resources at scale.
- Sharing accounts or API access to circumvent usage limits.
- Using AI features for purposes unrelated to invoicing or task management.
If we detect abuse, we will contact you to discuss the issue before taking any action on your account.
Right to Modify Limits
We reserve the right to adjust AI usage limits at any time. Changes may occur due to evolving infrastructure costs, improvements to AI capabilities, or changes in demand. When limits are adjusted, we will:
- Provide advance notice via email or in-app notification.
- Honour existing allocations until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Offer options for users who need higher limits, including the ability to upgrade to a more suitable plan.
