These Terms of Service govern your use of Zenaris. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Zenaris, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

Account Terms

When creating an account with Zenaris, you agree to the following:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
  • Each individual may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended or removed.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including safeguarding your login credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Zenaris.

The Service

Zenaris is a freelance invoicing and task management platform. The service includes:

  • Invoice creation, management, and tracking for freelancers and small businesses.
  • Task and project management tools to organise your work.
  • AI-powered features including quote generation, email analysis, and intelligent reporting.
  • Email integration via Gmail and IMAP for communication workflows.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Payment Terms

Zenaris offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

  • The free tier provides limited access to core features at no cost.
  • Paid tiers unlock additional features, higher limits, and priority support. Pricing details are available on our pricing page.
  • Annual billing is available at a discounted rate compared to monthly billing.
  • All billing, payment processing, and subscription management is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
  • Failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in downgrade to the free tier.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Zenaris platform. Prohibited activities include:

  • Abusing the service, including attempting to overload, disrupt, or interfere with its operation.
  • Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to extract data from Zenaris without written permission.
  • Using the platform for any illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, or sending spam.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Reselling or redistributing the service without authorisation.

Intellectual Property

Zenaris and its associated branding, design, code, and content are the intellectual property of Zenaris and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.

You retain full ownership of all data, invoices, documents, and content you create or upload to Zenaris. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zenaris and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited activity.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export or recovery. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through an in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zenaris operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
