Learn how to add and manage clients, set hourly rates, and organize contacts.
Managing Clients
Clients are the foundation of your Zenaris workflow. Each client can have their own hourly rate, contact information, and associated tasks.
Adding a New Client
- Navigate to Clients in the sidebar
- Click the Add Client button
- Fill in the client details:
- Name: Client or company name
- Email: Primary contact email
- Phone: Contact phone number
- Address: Business address
- Hourly Rate: Override the default rate for this client
Client Details
Each client profile includes:
- Contact Information: Email, phone, address
- Hourly Rate: Client-specific billing rate
- Notes: Internal notes about the client
- Associated Tasks: All tasks for this client
- Invoice History: Past and pending invoices
Hourly Rate Hierarchy
Zenaris uses a rate hierarchy:
- Task rate (if specified on individual task)
- Client rate (if set on client profile)
- Default rate (from your settings)
Editing and Deleting Clients
- Click on any client to view their profile
- Use the Edit button to modify details
- The Delete option removes the client and all associated data
**Warning**: Deleting a client will remove all their tasks, invoices, and quotes.
